Rosé Replay: International Rosé Day in Aberdeen

Rosé Replay: International Rosé Day in Aberdeen

We’re hitting rewind and reliving our Rosé All Day summer party!

What better excuse for a rosy-hued, Provençal party than International Rosé Day? On Friday, 26th June, 120 wine lovers gathered at SugarBird in the Gardens to raise a glass to the summer’s favourite sip!

From the moment our guests arrived at Aberdeen’s Union Terrace Gardens, there was a real summer feel that even the overcast skies couldn’t put a dampener on. The vibes were rosy, the drinks were flowing, and - thanks to Sam Geddes and HomeAlone - the soundtrack of the summer was in full swing. Our guests really rosé to the occasion — dressed in pink and ready to dance the night away!

Starting the night with a glass of our signature SugarBird Spritz, each guest had the chance to win a showstopping prize from our custom-made scratch cards. From magnums of rosé and event tickets to hampers of goodies and discount codes, everyone was a winner! We can’t talk about magnums without a huge thank you to Maison Saint Aix for its continued support of this event, and for providing this year’s star of the show — a Methuselah (6 Litres!) of AIX Rosé with a Vcanter for pouring. The perfect centrepiece!

Inspired by al fresco dining and aperitif moments, our kitchen team prepared a gorgeous grazing selection of sweet and savoury treats. Charcuterie cups, locally sourced cheeses, smoked salmon, macaron towers… we’re getting hungry just thinking about it.

By the time the sun set over Union Terrace Gardens, we were confident that if summer had a flavour, it would taste like a glass of chilled rosé with good friends. Cheers to another wonderful Rosé All Day!

Inspired to host your own full venue party at SugarBird in the Gardens? We’d love to hear your ideas!
