Start your party with something special this year and enjoy a guided wine tasting led by our knowledgeable team — wine-led experiences are a great ice breaker to begin the night! The SugarBird festivities continue with our seasonal grazing tables.  Carefully curated by our Co-Founder Alex (who has catered for the Royal Family!), they feature a gorgeous spread of charcuterie, local cheeses and festive canapes. The perfect nibbles to pair with our curated selection of international wines!

Adding to the picturesque atmosphere we’ve created in the bar, we have also worked with some of Aberdeen’s best entertainers, so we can recommend showstopping live music, photographers, videographers, and performers — one more thing Kitty and Beth from our events dream team can tick off your list.

Variety

Our stunning two-storey wine bar lends itself to parties of various sizes. From cosy spots for small group gatherings to full venue hire for up to 120 people, we have a space to suit every kind of event.

Here’s a simple guide to the capacity of each of our spaces:

•           SugarBird with a View: 15 – 25 standing
•           SugarBird on the Terrace (Lower Bar): 25 – 35 seated / 60 standing
•           Upper Bar: 35 – 60 standing
•           Whole Venue: 120 standing

Location

Based in the beautiful Burns Pavilion, SugarBird in the Gardens is ideally located in Aberdeen city centre, just a 10-minute walk from Union Square and close to Aberdeen train and bus stations. For guests using inner-city buses from Torry, Cove and Culter, stop D3 is on our doorstep.

Ample parking is available around the city, along with a variety of hotels, so you can keep the party going without worrying about when the last bus home is!
