Nestled in Union Terrace Gardens, amidst the hustle and bustle of Aberdeen city centre, you’ll find SugarBird in the Gardens - a beautiful two-storey wine bar and outdoor terrace, featuring two dedicated event spaces.

We currently have three spaces available for private hire within our two-storey venue, or for larger events you can hire the full venue:
- SugarBird Upper Bar: our full upper floor indoor space, which can comfortably host up to 60 guests for stand up events, with views over Union Terrace Gardens.
- SugarBird on the Terrace: our full downstairs indoor space, which can comfortably host up to 60 guests for stand up events
- SugarBird with a View: an area for 15 to 25 guests in our upstairs bar, at the Union Street end of the pavilion, ideal for stand up drinks receptions, wine tastings and grazing platters
VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE
Our available days for booking events at SugarBird in the Gardens is Sunday to Friday, we do not book events for Saturdays.
Please kindly note that due to our alcohol license, children and young persons (16,17 years old) are not permitted on the premises under any circumstances.
