Buy this wine because we love the savoury characteristics and firm tannins that are found in the French Malbecs, from Cahors, South West France. This is rich and firm, with great wood and spice notes as well as prominent black plum and berry fruit. With its acidity, still-young tannins and firm texture, it will age, but we like drinking in now.
It pairs great with prime rib beef, grilled steak, cured beef & charcuterie; lamb cutlets with rosemary and roasted chicken
