Buy this wine because with grapes sourced from 20 year old established vines and coupled with moderate temperatures and a distinct lack of heatwave this vintage the conditions were perfect for ideal berry ripening and a higher quality of fruit. The resulting wine shows generosity for a vintage which is known for more elegant and finely textured wines. The tannins presented are soft and granular with a fruit-forward finish due to the use of strictly older barrels for ageing.
