Buy this wine because finding great syrah vineyards in the right place is increasingly challenging and, in 2019, Sam Lambson was gutted to discover that two of the Elgin vineyards from which he sourced grapes had been lost to apple production. As a first step in Sam's commitment to keep syrah vines in the ground, he's leased a small parcel of land in the Elgin Valley at Niemandsrivier, which is where the grapes for this aromatic, spicy wine with a touch of garrigue were sourced.

It pairs great with stuffed neck of lamb, chargrilled steak, cassoulet
