Buy this wine because Kevin Grant’s approach to his winemaking is minimalist, letting the soils speak for themselves: “dirt in a bottle” is how he describes his stunning range of wines yet this simple philosophy reflects perfectly what he achieves. The resulting wooded Chardonnay is Burgundian in style with such an elegant balance of fruits (grapefruit, lychees, citrus) and minerals with a nutty note and delicate oaking. Sublime.
